EN 1.2003 · JIS SUP11A · GB 75Cr1
75Cr1 is a low-alloy chromium steel (0.70-0.80% C, 0.25-0.50% Cr) engineered for precision cutting edges and measuring instruments. The chromium addition enhances hardenability and wear resistance beyond plain carbon steels, making 75Cr1 steel strip the preferred material for feeler gauges, surgical blades, band saw blades, and precision knives.

Precision thickness gauges and measuring blades. Excellent flatness, consistent thickness, and wear resistance for accurate measurement over long service life.
Surgical scalpel blades, industrial razor blades, and precision cutting tools. Fine-grained microstructure enables razor-sharp edges at 58-62 HRC.
Wood and metal cutting band saw blades. Good balance of hardness for cutting edge retention and toughness for fatigue resistance in flexing applications.
